Sarah has been building her own Wealth Management Practice with St. James’s Place since 2008 and became a Senior Partner Practice in April 2020. Working mainly with professionals and business owners, Sarah encourages clients to take a goals-based approach to their financial planning and helps them to plan for a comfortable retirement. She is also a voluntary Director of the Ilkley Business Improvement District (BID) focusing on projects to help town centre businesses in her home town of Ilkley.
She is mum to Archie and Olivia and, in her 'spare' time, is an active member of Ilkley Tennis Club and Gym.
A Chartered Accountant (non practising) and former Finance Director, Dan decided to join Sarah’s Practice in 2019 to use his experience for helping individuals rather than companies. After twelve years of safeguarding corporate assets, his focus is on providing tailored, trusted service to individuals and nurturing long-term relationships with his clients.
Dan lives in Burley in Wharfedale with his wife and two children, and coaches his son’s Ilkley Town football team in his spare time.
Having worked with St. James’s Place Wealth Management since 2005, Fran is aware of the high standards that the Company and those associated with it continually strive to attain. Fran works with Sarah running the office, liaising with clients, processing business and ensuring a smooth submission.
An accomplished equestrian, Fran loves hacking in the countryside and competing at riding club dressage competitions.
Sue Staton joined the team in November 2017 to enhance the client experience. Her goal is to ensure that the right processes are in place to ensure a great client experience and to investigate new business opportunities for the Practice.
She moved to Yorkshire from London in 2008 after spending 15 years working for the Sony Corporation and now lives locally in Ilkley with her husband and two sons.
Elizabeth joined the team in January 2018 to utilise her 12 years software experience gained at Callcredit, Leeds, for developing the use of our interactive planning tool, Voyant. This enables clients to visualise their financial future, test different 'What If' scenarios and instantly understand the impact of key decisions on life events.
Elizabeth lives in Menston with her family and golden doodle.
